A closer look at the key healing environments of the Humanity Institute.

Humanity Institute Fountain

Our Pyramid serves as a landmark and a beacon, and as a place for individual meditation. We also will host group therapy sessions in this space, as we believe in both the sun’s healing potential and the pyramid’s traditional significance as a focus of power.

Humanity Institute Garden

Located in the center of our campus, the Grand Lawn is a beautiful shared space for gathering and joy. Guests may freely roam the Lawn and meditate, and the Lawn’s centrality makes it a natural setting for community events.

Amphitheatre/Stage

In the Therapeutic Gardens, situated adjacent to our pyramid, guests may delight their senses with the scents and sites of our gorgeous flowers, plants, and insects, all of which are native to Georgia’s landscape.

Yoga/Meditation Facilities

The lifeline of our Institute, here we will grow the produce used by our dining hall. A dedicated horticultural specialist will ensure our farm stays in optimal health; we’ll also use the farm in educational efforts, reinforcing the benefits of a plant-based diet as well as teaching guests how to farm or garden at home.

Donors Wall

Nature is the oldest and most primal source of peace. The Peace Trail surrounds our entire campus, weaving its way through the area’s forest and greenspaces. On the trail, guests can run, jog, walk, or meander contemplatively in a safe natural environment.

Hydrotherapy/Reflexology

We welcome everyone, including guests with children. The Playground Garden is a dedicated space where children of our guests can play and be active, explore, and meet other children in a wholesome, pleasant setting.

Biophillic Design

Here our specialists apply the ancient technique of hydrotherapy to harness the healing properties of water to help our guests relax and alleviate stress.

Guest & Staff Villas

Traditionally, “OM” is the sound of the universe’s natural vibration, and serves as the inspiration for OM Island, located in our pond. The island will serve as a quiet, dedicated space for outdoor meditation and reflection.

Outdoor Dining

In the northeast corner of our campus, the sprawling, untouched Nature Preserve offers guests an opportunity to appreciate and accept our wonderful world for what it is, just as it is.

Nature Preserve & Trails

Our library, housed inside the Pyramid, contains volumes of both digital and physical reading material. We deeply value knowledge and education at the Humanity Institute, and the library offers both. Offering spaces dedicated to study and reading, the library will also host events and group readings.

Construction Updates

Follow the physical construction progress of our Locust Grove campus.

Phase 1

Land Procurement

Locate and secure suitable real estate for construction of the Humanity Institute. Property must be large enough to house Institute facilities without requiring significant topographic alterations, secluded enough to provide therapeutic respite for guests, and conveniently accessible.

Status: Complete

Phase 2

Facility Construction

Commence initial construction of central buildings (dining halls, memorial plaza, humanity garden, amphitheater, humanity temple, etc.). Landscaping of green spaces (lawn, nature path) follows suit, along with construction of outbuildings and any additional structures necessary for agriculture and horticulture.

Here and throughout, design includes input from Ayurvedic specialists, to ensure creation of spaces optimized for therapeutic experiences.

Wherever feasible, the construction phase will adhere to principles of sustainability, privileging use of recycled and/or renewable materials.

Phase 3

Program Launch

As construction reaches completion, schedule and begin offering services.

Phase 4

Operating Budget Allocation

Once open, The Humanity Institute will be self–funding, with revenue coming from additional donations and treatment regimens.

Revenue is to be allocated as follows:

20% – Educational Offerings: Comorbidity Prevention (Diabetes, Hypertension, Cancer)
20% – Treatment Services: Covering cost of Ayurvedic Treatments
20% – Community Outreach: Emergency Medical Aid, Suicide Prevention, and Mental Health Awareness
20% – Facilities upkeep and maintenance
20% – Administrative overhead
